Things To Do To Boost Your Mood While Self Isolating
Being indoors has become so dull and irritating for me these past few days. It has been almost a month of being "trapped" inside and in all honesty, an end to COVID-19 is nowhere in sight if we're being realistic. We're good on food, WiFi, and books but I still feel less productive than before when I was simply just working from home. Here is a small list of things you can do to improve your mood while stuck inside. I promise, trying at least one of these things today will make you feel so much better. 1. Open all of your windows. I tend to only open the back windows of my house because the wind blows better from back there but every room needs fresh air at some point. Constantly breathing in the same recycled air can definitely have an effect on your mood and overall physical feeling. Without opening my back windows during warm weather, I tend to take about 2-3 naps per day. What a waste of a day! 2. Change your clothes. When you get out of bed on a usual morning to go to work, the movement alone wakes your body up for productivity. Taking a long and thorough shower, changing your clothes into something less comfortable, will help you feel ready to take on whatever tasks you jot down in this next suggestion. 3. Create a daily to-do list. Contrary to what you think at the moment, there is always something for you to. Whether it be do some stretches to make you more flexible during sex, you can read for an hour or two to better your vocabulary, you can clean the dirtiest room in your home top to bottom, here is a more extensive list of things I'm personally doing to combat boredom. 4. Cook Something new. Every week, I am posting at least one easy to create recipe that helps you to stretch your range of dishes, and use up random items you have in your pantry. 5. Light a candle. Aromas can have a dramatic effect on or moods. If you have an essential oil diffuser, even better babe.
