Deep Cleansing Spotlight: PTR Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel
With the debut of my own skin cleansing collection releasing soon, I have dived really deep into dissecting and understanding the world of a chemist and ingredients that actually work. Now before all of this, I was very much into skin care and testing products with the best tract records and only a few made it to a list of items I was willing to use daily.
One my favorites being a Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel. This face wash is actually extremely aggressive on my skin and I only use it when I feel a lot of build up on my skin or if I need to remove make up. I picked this one up from Ross for almost 60% off what the original price tag is $39 at Sephora and Ulta (currently having withdrawals from Ross and TJMaxx these days).
Honestly, the only way I see myself spending so much on a cleanser again is if I go back to my Ole Henrikson's Oil Control wash which is a God send. Did I mention my first specialized cleanser will be priced $9-12? You love to see it.
I actually have some similar ingredients in my first formula of a foaming face wash but I believe my final formula including dyes and getting rid of the final drying stage is more similar to Cerave. More active ingredients once it foams, absolutely nothing tested on animals, and is extremely effective in removing oil from your pores to stop breakouts and the spread of dirt traction around your face. And of course, who can NOT craft a specialized face cleanser without Hyaluronic Acid? I am so excited!
In the mean time, wash your fucking hands!
