Fifty & Frantastic!
Tuesday, August 12th, 2008You have all had birthdays some more special than others right? Last week I turned fifty! For the last few years I have been planning my fiftieth, always ready to celebrate! But as the date actually came closer, I decided to have a very different kind of celebration than the other decades of past. I spent a quiet day with my husband, just the two of us. It was wonderful. Having time to really think about where we are in life and how much there is to be grateful for is a truel gift.
Your cards and birthday wishes touched me deeply. From colleagues & mentors to friends from High School to new friends I have only know a short time. Amazing. I am thankful for each of you who have supported me along the way and continue to believe in me.
Fifty is different! I can feel it- A passage yes, but mostly a feeling of looking around and taking stock in what I have accomplished and how much more I want to. The past few years have been a very big transition in every way for me- A new business, new marriage (love it!!), new family, new friends, mentors and lots of challenges! My passion for each drive me each day.
So, thank you! Thank you for reading my blog- I will write more frequently as I have so much to share with you as your friend, consultant, sales trainer, coach and mentor.
